PCO Bridge is offered to churches, ministries, agencies, and other organizations for their business or professional activities. It is not offered for personal, family, or household use.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between the organization accepting them (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and PCO Bridge, a company based in Washington State (“PCO Bridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply to pcobridge.io, customer accounts, the hosted server, connection and update services, support, and any other hosted PCO Bridge service (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account, connecting an integration, checking the acceptance box at checkout, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you act for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service. Separate signed terms control to the extent they expressly conflict with these Terms.
2. The Service
PCO Bridge helps a Customer-controlled WordPress site read selected Planning Center groups, display synchronized copies, route visitors to Church Center to join, and, when a supported form plugin and feed are configured, send selected form submissions to Planning Center People and workflows.
PCO Bridge is an integration, not a system of record. Planning Center, Church Center, your WordPress database, and your form system remain separate services under your control. Capacity, price, schedule, location, availability, synchronization, and delivery information can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. You must verify important information in the applicable system of record.
The Service is not an emergency, safeguarding, medical, counseling, records-management, archival, or guaranteed-delivery service. Do not rely on it to receive or respond to urgent messages. You are responsible for monitoring the form-delivery queue, Planning Center workflows, sync status, backups, and notices shown in WordPress.
3. Third-party services
The Service interoperates with third-party products, including WordPress, Planning Center, Church Center, Gravity Forms, Stripe, Cloudflare, and your hosting and email providers. Those products are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party products, data, outages, changes, security, pricing, availability, or acts or omissions.
You authorize us to exchange data with third-party services you connect or direct us to use. A third party may change or discontinue an API or feature at any time, and we may modify or discontinue an affected PCO Bridge feature without liability.
PCO Bridge is not affiliated with or endorsed by Planning Center. Planning Center, Church Center, WordPress, Gravity Forms, Stripe, Cloudflare, and other names and marks belong to their respective owners.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate account, organization, billing, and site information and keep it current. You are responsible for everyone who accesses the Service through your account, email, WordPress installation, secret key, or connected Planning Center account.
Keep credentials and magic links confidential, use appropriately secured administrator and email accounts, promptly install security updates, and notify hello@pcobridge.io if you suspect unauthorized access. We may treat actions made with your valid credentials as authorized.
5. Software and intellectual property
The PCO Bridge WordPress plugin is provided under the GNU General Public License, version 3 or later (“GPL”). The GPL controls your rights in the plugin code. These Terms do not reduce rights the GPL grants you.
Your plan grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right during the applicable term to access the hosted Service for the number and type of sites shown for that plan. Hosted credentials, hosted server access, account features, update delivery, support, documentation, branding, and non-GPL materials are not sold and remain ours or our licensors'. You may not share hosted credentials, bypass authentication or usage controls, interfere with the Service, or access the Service through an unauthorized client. These hosted-service restrictions do not limit your GPL rights to use, study, modify, copy, or redistribute the plugin code.
Except for the plugin rights granted by the GPL and rights expressly granted here, we reserve all rights in the Service. If you voluntarily provide feedback that does not contain Customer Data or confidential information, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use it without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
6. Customer Data and privacy
“Customer Data” means information you, your users, your website visitors, or your connected systems submit to or transmit through the Service. As between the parties, you retain your rights in Customer Data. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, transmit, secure, troubleshoot, and otherwise process Customer Data to provide and protect the Service and comply with law.
For account, billing, and direct support data, we determine why and how information is processed as described in the Privacy Policy. For personal information that you send through the hosted server from your WordPress site or Planning Center account, you determine the purposes and means of processing, and we process it on your behalf to provide the Service.
We do not acquire ownership of Customer Data and do not sell it or use church-submitted content for advertising. We may create and use aggregated or deidentified operational information that cannot reasonably identify a person or Customer.
You acknowledge that church forms and Planning Center records can contain sensitive information, including religious affiliation, prayer requests, family information, birthdates, and health-related statements. Unless we separately agree in writing, the Service is not designed to receive payment-card data, Social Security or other government identification numbers, account passwords, protected health information subject to HIPAA, or data subject to a regulatory framework requiring a specialized written agreement. Do not submit those categories through the Service.
Data processing terms
These paragraphs apply when PCO Bridge processes personal information in Church Data on your behalf and applicable data-protection law treats you as a controller or business and PCO Bridge as a processor, service provider, or contractor.
- Instructions and purpose. You instruct us to process Church Data only to provide, secure, maintain, and support the Service; follow settings and requests made by your authorized users; comply with documented instructions consistent with these Terms; and comply with law. We will notify you if, in our reasonable opinion, an instruction violates applicable data-protection law, unless law prohibits notice.
- Restrictions. We will not sell or share Church Data for cross-context behavioral advertising; retain, use, or disclose it outside the business relationship or for a commercial purpose other than providing the Service; or combine it with personal information received from another customer or collected from our own consumer interactions, except as permitted by applicable law.
- Confidentiality and security. We will limit access to people and providers who need it for the Service and are subject to confidentiality obligations. We will maintain safeguards appropriate to the risk, taking account of the nature of processing and the measures described in the Privacy Policy.
- Subprocessors. You generally authorize the providers identified in the Privacy Policy and other infrastructure providers reasonably needed to operate the Service. We will require a subprocessor that handles Church Data to protect it under obligations appropriate to its role. We remain responsible for our subprocessor obligations to the extent required by applicable law.
- Requests and assessments. Taking account of the nature of processing, we will provide reasonable assistance with verified individual-rights requests, security obligations, breach notices, and legally required impact assessments. Assistance beyond standard Service functionality may be charged at a reasonable rate if law permits.
- Security incidents. We will notify you without undue delay after confirming a breach of security that results in unauthorized acquisition of Church Data in our control. Notice will include information reasonably available to us and will not be an admission of fault or liability.
- Return and deletion. The hosted server is not designed to retain the content of proxied requests and responses. On termination or written request, we will delete or return Church Data in our control when reasonably feasible, except where law requires retention. This does not delete copies held in your WordPress site, Planning Center, downstream recipients, or backups that remain protected until overwritten under their ordinary lifecycle.
- Verification and transfers. On reasonable written request, we will provide information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance with these paragraphs. Audits must first use available documentation and may not unreasonably disrupt or compromise the Service or another customer. If legally required transfer terms apply, the parties will cooperate in good faith to put an appropriate transfer mechanism in place before the affected processing.
7. Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your website, forms, Customer Data, connected accounts, and use of the Service. You represent and warrant that:
- you have all rights, permissions, notices, consents, and lawful bases needed to collect, display, disclose, and instruct us to process Customer Data;
- your privacy notices accurately explain your use of PCO Bridge, Planning Center, WordPress, forms, and other processors;
- you will honor privacy, deletion, access, correction, and opt-out requests for data you control;
- you will configure location visibility, public content, permissions, form fields, workflows, and recipients appropriately and verify them after changes;
- you will not use the Service in violation of law, third-party rights, or the rules of a connected service; and
- you will maintain independent backups and reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards.
You must not probe or disrupt the Service; introduce malware; scrape, resell, sublicense, or provide unauthorized access to the hosted Service; evade quotas or security controls; impersonate another person; or use the Service for unlawful, abusive, discriminatory, deceptive, or harmful activity.
8. Billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, and refunds
Fees, billing periods, included usage, site limits, and plan features are shown at checkout or in an order. Fees are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and exclude taxes. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, value-added, withholding, and similar taxes other than taxes on our net income.
Paid annual plans renew automatically for successive one-year terms at the price disclosed before renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date. The payment method held by Stripe will be charged for each renewal. We will give any renewal or price-change notice required by applicable law.
Beta participation. Beta access is free: the beta plan is priced at $0.00, no payment method is required to use it, and nothing is charged for it. The automatic-renewal paragraph above describes paid plans and does not apply to beta access. If you later choose a paid plan, the fees, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms in this section apply from that point forward.
You may cancel automatic renewal at any time by emailing hello@pcobridge.io from your account email and identifying the account. We manually process email cancellation requests. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid term; access continues until then unless the account is otherwise suspended or terminated.
For a first paid purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial charge by emailing us from your account address. Refund requests are manually reviewed and processed. After that period, charges are non-refundable and we do not provide credits or prorated refunds for unused time, plan changes, cancellation, suspension, or third-party outages, except where required by law or stated in a separate written order.
Stripe processes payment details; we do not receive full card numbers. You authorize Stripe and us to complete charges, refunds, subscription changes, and related billing actions. If payment fails or a subscription ends, a limited grace period may apply. After it expires, hosted API access, updates, downloads, and other paid features may stop. Previously synchronized WordPress content may remain, and queued submissions may remain on your site, but delivery and synchronization may pause.
9. Service changes and support
We may add, change, limit, or discontinue Service features, plans, quotas, compatibility, or third-party integrations. We will use reasonable efforts to give advance notice when a material change is likely to significantly reduce paid functionality, but urgent security, legal, or third-party changes may take effect immediately.
Support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis through the channels listed on the Service. No response or resolution time is guaranteed unless a separate signed service-level agreement says otherwise.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account closure by emailing us. Ending use does not itself cancel an active paid subscription; follow the cancellation process above.
We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, exceed applicable limits, misuse third-party services, or if a connected provider requires it. We may also terminate the Service or a plan for convenience on reasonable notice and, for prepaid paid service we terminate without cause, refund the unused portion of the current term.
On termination, your right to the hosted Service ends. You are responsible for exporting information and disconnecting integrations beforehand. Data stored in your WordPress or Planning Center environment is under your control and is not automatically deleted when hosted access ends. Sections that by their nature should survive do survive, including payment obligations, intellectual-property provisions, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute terms.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE, SOFTWARE, SUPPORT, AND ALL RELATED CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” PCO BRIDGE AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, AND OTHER WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, SECURITY, AVAILABILITY, AND THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST OR CORRUPTED.
WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY SITE OR THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT, OR THAT SYNCHRONIZATION, WEBHOOKS, FORM SUBMISSIONS, UPDATES, OR NOTIFICATIONS WILL ARRIVE, ARRIVE ON TIME, OR PRODUCE A PARTICULAR RESULT. NO ORAL OR WRITTEN INFORMATION CREATES A WARRANTY NOT EXPRESSLY STATED IN THESE TERMS.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so the disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PCO BRIDGE, ITS OWNER, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, USE, OR DATA; BUSINESS INTERRUPTION; COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR LIABILITY ARISING FROM THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT THE LOSS WAS POSSIBLE.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THEIR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, SOFTWARE, OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US$100 OR (B) THE FEES YOU PAID TO PCO BRIDGE FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These exclusions and limits apply across all theories of liability, including contract, warranty, tort, negligence, strict liability, statute, and restitution, and apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or willful injury where applicable law prohibits such a limitation.
13. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless PCO Bridge, its owner, affiliates, licensors, suppliers, and personnel from and against third-party claims, demands, proceedings, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, settlements, penalties, fines, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or relating to: (a) Customer Data or your website, forms, notices, or connected accounts; (b) your collection, use, disclosure, display, or processing of personal information; (c) your violation of law, third-party rights, or these Terms; or (d) your misuse of the Service.
We will promptly notify you of a covered claim and provide reasonable cooperation at your expense. You may control the defense, but may not settle a claim in a way that admits our fault, imposes obligations on us, or fails to fully release us without our written consent. We may participate with counsel of our choice at our expense.
14. Governing law and disputes
The laws of the State of Washington govern these Terms and disputes arising from them, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Washington State have exclusive jurisdiction, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EACH PARTY WAIVES TRIAL BY JURY. CLAIMS MAY BE BROUGHT ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. This paragraph does not prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief or bringing an eligible individual claim in small-claims court.
Before filing a claim, a party must send written notice describing the dispute and requested relief and allow 30 days for a good-faith attempt to resolve it. This requirement does not prevent urgent injunctive relief or a filing needed to preserve a limitation period.
15. General terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms and update the date above, and will provide additional notice or seek renewed acceptance when required by law. Changes apply prospectively from their effective date.
You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or by operation of law. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, any applicable order, and any signed addendum are the entire agreement about the Service. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum lawful extent and the rest remains effective. A waiver must be in writing and is not a continuing waiver. Headings are for convenience. “Including” means “including without limitation.” There are no third-party beneficiaries except the persons expressly protected by the disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnity.
16. Contact
Questions, legal notices, cancellation requests, and account-closure requests may be sent to hello@pcobridge.io. We may send notices to the account email you provide.
